We would like to introduce you to the “Build the Future with Alpha Finance Lab” Hackathon, our sponsor bounty under the Avalanche X Moralis Hackathon event. Compete in this biggest Web3 Hackathon and win $30,000 for the best product(s) built on-top of existing Alpha Finance Lab’s products (Alpha Homora, AlphaX, and Alpha Tokenomics).
How to Win
This Hackathon is designed to promote builders in the blockchain landscape to think outside the box by challenging themselves to go beyond to construct solutions that are innovative to the current blockchain landscape.
Your final product will be judged upon 6 criteria: Innovation, risk, Alpha Finance Lab protocol utilization, feasibility, community vote, and impact.
1. Innovation:
How innovative this product is, judge based on the ideas and concept of the product.
2. Risk:
How risky is the product? What are the risks of the implemented protocols or tools?
3. Alpha Finance Lab Protocol Utilization:
Which Alpha Finance Lab product is used to build on-top and what functionality is used.
4. Feasibility:
This will be both marked from both tech and business sides. Will the tech work and will it fulfill the market demand?
5. Community Vote:
ALPHA stakers on Alpha Tokenomics can cast vote on the team that they think performed the best. This vote will close on Monday 31st January, 2021 at 11:00 UTC.
6. Impact:
This will be both marked from both tech and business sides. Who are the target users? Market size/TVL estimation for Alpha Finance Lab with this additional feature, if applicable
Our judges will determine how well your product answers each criterion and give out points accordingly. The maximum point you can get for a criterion is 10 points. Hence, the highest score any team can get is 60 points (6 criteria).
The points are given out from our leaders at Alpha Finance Lab, Tascha Punyaneramitdee, Nipun Pitimanaaree, and Arin Trongsantipong. While you can earn additional 10 points from ALPHA stakers on Alpha Tokenomics through the community vote criterion. The product that receives the highest points will win a $30,000 USD prize bounty from Alpha Finance Lab and Moralis x Avalanche Hackathon's VCs. This will be decided on the final day, January 31st 2022, when each team will get the opportunity to showcase their product(s) to the judges and the Alpha Finance Lab community on Alpha Finance Lab Youtube channel. So win the judges and the crowd too!
Timeline of the Event
As the duration of this Hackathon event spans out in a 2 months period, the product should portray these timespan accordingly. Thus, the event is split into 3 phases: Initiation, Creation, and Competition.
