Announcing the new liquidity mining period for Alpha Homora - both on Ethereum (V1 and V2) and BSC (v1).

Alpha Homora V1 and V2 on Ethereum: New Liquidity Mining Period
The new liquidity mining period is from Aug 4th, 8am UTC - August 18th, 8am UTC.
During this period on Alpha Homora V1 and V2 on Ethereum:
- 2,000,000 ALPHA will be distributed between August 4th - August 18th to the following eligible users:
8% to stablecoin lenders on Alpha Homora V2 (USDT, USDC, DAI):

- For users who already have leverage positions of at least 1x open, there’s no need to close and re-open a new position to collect these ALPHA rewards.
ALPHA rewards will be available to claim:

- By August 25th for the new period (ending August 18th)
For more details on how to claim these rewards, please see our guide.
Users on Alpha Homora V1 (Ethereum) are encouraged to migrate to V2
Users who are still on Alpha Homora V1 are encouraged to migrate to V2 for a number of reasons.
- On V2, leverage yield farmers can borrow multiple assets/stablecoins in one position. This allows them to borrow the asset with a lower borrow APY and also spreads the borrow demand across multiple assets, thereby increasing the yield.
- Leverage yield farming on V2 offers ~2x the ALPHA rewards.
- Lenders of ETH also earn a higher lending interest rate on V2 as compared to V1.
- Now that Alpha Tiers have been integrated with Alpha Homora V2, ALPHA stakers who have more than 1,000 ALPHA staked can now enjoy from 10% to 40% higher leverage when opening a farming position on Alpha Homora V2.
- By using the ‘Basic Farming Mode’ on V2, users will only need to select the level of leverage and the asset(s). Amount to borrow are calculated for the users to minimize price impact from swapping assets on the AMM protocols
